The Next step in our Talon capsule collection is the Talon Hoodies.
The Talon Project is a blend of Essential everyday pieces that meet luxury fabric, look, and finishing details. Taking the design DNA of this collection and combining it with our new and improved hoodie fit was the logical next step for the collection.
We work on improvements to the fit continuously, but more than ever during the development of the Mad World hoodies. These small tweaks and adjustments fine-tune the fit and feel of the Wings hoodies over time.
For examples, we added a small amount of width for comfort and improved the cut of the arm holes this then improves the way the hoodie sits when worn. In the lower half, I added width and length to give the boxy fit I'm looking for without being too short in the body causing it to ride up and sit overly short on top of base layers.
In the details, I added the crossover stitch detail. This is the same stitch used in the Talon shorts maintaining a consistent finish through all of the talon pieces which feature this detail around the cuffs and the hem of the hoodie.
The branding is kept minimal and high quality. I use the woven Wings eagle tag as seen on the Talon shorts maintaining the clean, premium feel.
As with all our hoodies, the hood is a double layer construction. This means it is two layers of fabric combined together to give a robust hood that sits perfectly up and down.
The Talon Hoodies will be available in Midnight Black and Natural on Friday the 17th of July 2020.
